Atcorp

PB 210-635 HE

High-efficiency blower purge and zero purge adsorption dryers designed for demanding compressed-air applications where low lifecycle costs, reliable air quality and energy-efficient regeneration are priorities. The range provides pressure dew points down to -40°C as standard and -70°C with the Purge Cooled configuration.

Introduction

Atcorp offers PB 210–635 HE blower purge and zero purge adsorption dryers for installations where energy efficiency and consistent compressed-air quality are critical. Heated blower regeneration eliminates purge-air loss during regeneration, while Zero Purge variants also eliminate purge loss during cooling, helping reduce lifecycle costs during long operating hours.

Key Benefits

Low Lifecycle Costs
Zero Purge Technology
Optional -70°C PDP
Blower Purge Technology
-40°C Dew Point as Standard
High-Efficiency Desiccant

Why Choose Pb 210–635 He Adsorption Dryers?

Compressed-air moisture can cause corrosion, freezing, pneumatic equipment failures and production problems. For demanding applications, adsorption drying provides much lower pressure dew points than conventional refrigeration drying.

The PB 210–635 HE range uses heated blower purge regeneration, meaning the desiccant is regenerated using heated ambient air rather than a portion of compressed air. The Zero Purge version takes energy efficiency further by eliminating compressed-air loss during cooling as well. This makes the range particularly suitable for installations with high annual operating hours where lifecycle cost is an important consideration.

The PB 210–635 HE uses two adsorption vessels that alternate between drying and regeneration.

Step 1 – Moist Compressed Air Entry
Compressed air containing water vapour enters the active adsorption vessel.

Step 2 – Adsorption
The air passes through the desiccant, which captures moisture from the compressed-air stream.

Step 3 – Dry Air DeliveryThe treated air exits the active vessel at the required low pressure dew point.

Step 4 – Desiccant Saturation
The active desiccant gradually accumulates moisture during the drying cycle.

Step 5 – Heated Blower Regeneration
A dedicated side-channel centrifugal blower supplies ambient air, which is heated and passed through the saturated desiccant to remove accumulated moisture.

Step 6 – Cooling
After regeneration, the desiccant is cooled before the vessel returns to the drying cycle.

Step 7 – Zero Purge Operation
On Zero Purge models, the cooling phase is managed without losing compressed-air purge, further reducing lifecycle energy costs.

Step 8 – Vessel Switching
The vessels alternate automatically to provide continuous dry compressed air.

Blower Purge Regeneration

Unlike heatless adsorption dryers that consume a portion of compressed air for regeneration, PB dryers use a heated blower stream to regenerate the desiccant, eliminating compressed-air purge loss during regeneration.

Zero Purge Technology

The Zero Purge version also eliminates purge loss during the cooling stage, helping achieve even lower lifecycle costs during applications with long operating hours.

-40°C Pressure Dew Point

The standard configuration delivers a pressure dew point of -40°C / -40°F, providing reliable protection against moisture-related problems.

Optional -70°C Performance

A -70°C / -94°F pressure dew point is available on blower purge variants with the Purge Cooled configuration, using molecular-sieve desiccant.

Advanced Energy Management

Compressor synchronization, PDP control and regeneration/cooling temperature control work together to optimize energy consumption.

Efficient Side-Channel Blower

The compact side-channel centrifugal blower provides the airflow required for regeneration while maintaining an efficient and reliable design.

High-Efficiency Heaters

The heaters are designed for efficient regeneration, long service life and reduced operational risk.

High-Quality Desiccant

The standard -40°C version uses silica gel WR & NWR, while molecular sieve is used for the optional -70°C configuration.

Reduced Risk of Desiccant Crushing

Large vessel diameters and an optional sonic nozzle help reduce the risk of desiccant damage during operation.

Advanced PureLogic™ Touch Control

The controller provides real-time monitoring and management of critical dryer parameters, including dew point, regeneration and cooling.

Three-Filter Protection

The dryer is supplied with two upstream G&C grade filters and one downstream S-grade dust filter, supporting compressed-air quality and protecting downstream equipment.
