The dryer cools compressed air to condense moisture and then removes the resulting condensate.
Step 1 – Moist Air Entry
Warm, moisture-laden compressed air enters the refrigeration dryer.
Step 2 – Pre-Cooling
The incoming compressed air passes through the air-to-air heat exchanger and is pre-cooled by the outgoing dry air.
Step 3 – Refrigeration Cooling
The air then enters the air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger, where its temperature is reduced further.
Step 4 – Moisture Condensation
Water vapour condenses as the compressed air is cooled.
Step 5 – Condensate Removal
The condensed water is discharged through the zero-loss drain.
Step 6 – Air Reheating
The dry compressed air is reheated through the air-to-air heat exchanger.
Step 7 – Dry Air Delivery
The treated air leaves the dryer with a pressure dew point of approximately 3°C.
Step 8 – VSD Load Matching
The variable speed drive adjusts refrigeration-system speed according to the actual compressed-air demand, reducing unnecessary energy use during lower-load periods.
Up to 60% Energy Savings
VSD technology allows the refrigeration system to slow down during lower demand and increase capacity when demand rises, reducing unnecessary energy consumption.
Stable Class 4 Air Quality
The dryer maintains a pressure dew point of 3°C, supporting ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 4 moisture performance.
Performance at High Ambient Temperatures
The range maintains specified performance at ambient temperatures up to 46°C, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
Low Internal Pressure Drop
Patented air-to-air heat exchangers provide pressure drops of approximately 100–180 mbar depending on model, reducing the additional compressor energy associated with pressure losses.
No Oversizing for High Ambient Conditions
The dryer is designed to provide 100% of nominal compressed-air flow across its specified operating temperatures, avoiding the need to oversize purely for maximum ambient conditions.
Zero-Loss Condensate Drain
The drain removes collected moisture without continuously releasing compressed air, helping preserve compressed-air efficiency.
Intelligent Monitoring
PureLogic Touch and ICONS provide operational insights, performance information and maintenance-related data.
Compact Installation
The compact design allows the dryer to be installed in areas where conventional larger dryers may be difficult to accommodate.
