The PMNG 4–40 HE uses membrane separation to continuously produce nitrogen from treated compressed air.
Step 1 – Compressed Air Intake
Clean, treated compressed air enters the generator.
Step 2 – Membrane Separation
Compressed air passes through hollow polymer membranes.
Step 3 – Selective Permeation
Oxygen and other faster-permeating gases pass through the membrane walls.
Step 4 – Nitrogen Concentration
Nitrogen remains within the membrane fibers and becomes concentrated.
Step 5 – Nitrogen Delivery
The generated nitrogen is supplied continuously at the selected purity.
Step 6 – Purity Adjustment
The system allows purity to be selected between 95% and 99.5% according to application requirements.
