The PPNG 1–5.5 HE uses Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology to separate nitrogen from compressed air.
Step 1 – Compressed Air Intake
Clean compressed air enters the nitrogen generator.
Step 2 – Air Separation
The air passes through vessels containing Carbon Molecular Sieves (CMS).
Step 3 – Oxygen Adsorption
The CMS selectively adsorbs oxygen and other gases while allowing nitrogen to pass through.
Step 4 – CMS Regeneration
The vessels alternate between pressure levels to regenerate the CMS and maintain continuous operation.
Step 5 – Nitrogen Delivery
Purified nitrogen is delivered at the required purity for the application.
